Here is a snapshot of various national funding sources.
Need to do funding searches or learn the basics of grant proposal writing? The Foundation Center is a fabulous resource for all your grantseeking and training needs. You can access some free information, but grant researches require a subscription. You may access the grant research section at Willard Public Library in Battle Creek or the Nonprofit Alliance office.
Grants, up to $5,000, are available to registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, public schools, or tax-exempt public service agencies in the U.S. that are using the power of volunteers to improve the physical health of their community. Grants are given in the form of The Home Depot gift cards for the purchase of tools, materials, or services.
The application will be available from November 12, 2012 through December 12, 2012.
