Nonprofit Alliance to Host Fourth "Inner Workings of Federal Grant Development" Workshop for Nonprofits, Albion, Sept 30

Albion- Due to popular demand, Nonprofit Alliance will host a fourth Federal Grant Writing Workshop for Nonprofits at the Kellogg Community College-Eastern Academic Center in Albion. This interactive, peer-learning workshop will examine the inner workings of the federal grant development process

 

 

In this interactive, peer-learning workshop participants will learn the Inner Workings of Federal Grant Development to include: searching for funds, preparing to write, needs statement, goals and objectives, and methodology. Evaluation, budget and continuation plans will also be covered. Learn how to write the introduction, summary and wrap up of a grant proposal, reading and analyzing RFPs and more. NPA is offering this professional development workshop to proactively address the increased interest in federal funding and continued interest in government grant writing from the public and private sector.

 

The trainer is Thomas Jones, a teacher and coach of grant writers. Tom has extensive experience with strategic and program planning, budgeting, evaluation, staff development and grants, having held positions in the Michigan departments of Management and Budget, Mental Health, Education and Labor & Economic Growth. He has over 35 years of experience in soliciting, writing and evaluating grant proposals. He received his undergraduate and Masters degrees from Michigan and completed the Program for Health Systems Management at the Harvard Business School.
